| Hurricane Relief in Haiti |
 |
| In 2008 hurricanes Fay, Gustav, Hanna and Ike have destroyed homes and left people dead in the Caribbean and along the Gulf Coast of the United States. But the small nation of Haiti, one of the world's poorest countries, has been hit the hardest and is still in desperate need of assistance. Thousands of people are in emergency shelters, there's a dangerous food shortage, its largest city (Gonaives) is under water, and hundreds are dead. The aftermath has been compared to Katrina.
For a small donation of just $50 US, you can provide relief to a suffering family in Haiti, your contribution will purchase one 9lb bag of beans, one 9lb bag of rice, and a 3 gallon bottle of cooking oil.
